The mail online is indeed in favour of the Conservatives because as you can see they have published a news story about the UKIP leader Henry Bolton in which they have opposed that he has split from glamour model Jo Marney after she had made racist remarks about Meghan Markle and inappropriate jokes about child abuse. This news story is focusing on UKIP'S leader in which his wife is said to be "relieved that he's ended 'damaging relationship' with glamour model, 25, after her racist texts about Meghan Markle were exposed". This story helps the reader to think about the whole UKIP party as not as racist as they are portrayed, through this story many people who once looked as UKIP as racist can now see them through in a different light. This news story brings the message that UKIP supporters have morals and  believe in equality. It also shows that even though UKIP carries what seems to be racist traits the foundation of the Party which is the leader Henry Bolton isn't at all racist or prejudiced, giving the readers a good perspective on the UKIP party as a whole .





















The Guardian are not in favour of the Conservatives because as you can see they have published a news story about Brexit/ EU in which they state that they could cost Scottish economy 16 billion a year. This exposes to me that the Guardian is not in favour of Brexit so they are bringing to light the atrocities that came with the EU exit, this would make the readers be against Brexit and see them in a bad light.

Representation of gender: Within the newspaper 'The Sun', the representation of gender is a rather stereotypical one which is seen through images of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. Meghan Markle is seen wearing a tight revealing dress that is exposing her cleavage, the dress and lipstick is red which may represent lust and sex.This links into Van Zoonen study on objectification in which women are usually seen and represented as objects . This is evident especially through media.
